The Phantom 4 RTK Quadcopter with D-RTK 2 GNSS Mobile Station Combo from DJI is a Phantom 4 quadcopter with additional technology that is designed to deliver centimeter-level accurate mapping that can be extremely useful for surveying, construction sites, and inspections. Utilizing an RTK receiver on the top of Phantom 4, and a built-in GNSS module, the Phantom 4 RTK can achieve 1cm+1ppm RTK horizontal and 1.5cm+1ppm RTK vertical positioning accuracy.
In addition to the RTK receiver and GNSS module, the Phantom 4 RTK can achieve such accuracy thanks to DJI's TimeSync system and the gimbal camera's calibration process. The camera is the same one that's on a standard Phantom 4, but with the Phantom 4 RTK, each camera has its radial and tangential lens distortions measured. They are added to the metadata of all captured images, allowing for accurate post-processing that account for the distortions.
The Phantom 4 RTK can perform mapping duties in real-time, but this bundle also includes a separate D-RTK 2 GNSS Mobile Station to help compensate for locations where the Phantom 4 experiences poor or no signal. The Mobile Station can access GPS and GLONASS to provide real-time differential data and can communicate that via OcuSync, 4G, Wi-Fi, or LAN. When mapping, pilots can utilize the Photogrammetry and Waypoint Flight modes in the GS RTK app, which give mapping-specific functionality, such as selecting flight paths and directly loading KML area files. Combine it all and you have an enterprise-level mapping solution that can be used right out of the box.

DJI integrated a new RTK module into the Phantom 4 RTK for centimeter-level positioning data. The result is improved absolute accuracy on metadata. A redundant GNSS module sits just below the RTK receiver, so even in areas where signals are notoriously weak, such as urban canyons of concrete and steel, flight stability is maintained.
The GS RTK program augments flight planning for both mapping and inspection runs. The pilot can adjust settings, including overlap rate, altitude, speed, and camera parameters. The Phantom 4 RTK will be set up precisely for the work you’re performing on your job site.
TimeSync, which is built into the operating system, contributes to improved accuracy by continually aligning the flight controller, camera and RTK module. Using the most accurate metadata, TimeSync fixes positioning data to the center of the 1-inch, 20MP CMOS sensor. The image employs optimization of photogrammetric methods to achieve centimeter-level positioning.
The inclusion in the combo of the D-RTK Mobile Work Station allows connection anywhere, in any workflow, and it provides information—including high wind alerts—that increases accuracy. The work station supplies the Phantom 4 RTK with real-time differential data. By connecting through a 4G dongle or WiFi hotspot, the work station facilitates continuous data flow using the NTRIP protocol, which provides security for data while aiding distribution to multiple users. Data gets to internal or external clients quickly and accurately.
The Phantom 4 RTK has a range of 4.3 miles. OcuSync transmits live images in 720p over that entire range. More importantly, 4K video and 20MP still imagery are transmitted for recording over that entire range, sending data that is highly accurate. Stored data can be accessed for detailed analysis and decision-making by stakeholders. The Phantom 4 RTK’s long range greatly augments the aircraft’s wide-area mapmaking and inspection capabilities.
Under development by DJI is a Software Developer Kit that will allow greater customization.
DJI has rethought its drone technology from the ground-up, revolutionizing its systems to achieve a new standard for drone accuracy – offering Phantom 4 RTK customers centimeter-accurate data while requiring fewer ground control points.
A new RTK module is integrated directly into the Phantom 4 RTK, providing realtime, centimeter-level positioning data for improved absolute accuracy on image metadata. Sitting just beneath the RTK receiver is a redundant GNSS module, installed to maintain flight stability in signal-poor regions such as dense cities. Combining both modules, the Phantom 4 RTK is able to optimize flight safety while ensuring the most precise data is captured for complex surveying, mapping and inspection workflows.
Fit the Phantom 4 RTK to any workflow, with the ability to connect this positioning system to the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station, NTRIP (Network Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol) using a 4G dongle or WiFi hotspot, or store the satellite observation data to be used for Post Processed Kinematics (PPK).
To take full advantage of the Phantom 4 RTK’s positioning modules, the new TimeSync system was created to continually align the flight controller, camera and RTK module. Additionally, TimeSync ensures each photo uses the most accurate metadata and fixes the positioning data to the center of the CMOS – optimizing the results from photogrammetric methods and letting the image achieve centimeter-level positioning data.
Capture the best image data with a 1-inch, 20 megapixel CMOS sensor. Mechanical shutter makes mapping missions or regular data capture seamless as the Phantom 4 RTK can move while taking pictures without the risk of rolling shutter blur. Due to the high resolution, the Phantom 4 RTK can achieve a Ground Sample Distance (GSD) of 2.74 cm at 100 meters flight altitude. To ensure each Phantom 4 RTK offers unparalleled accuracy, every single camera lens goes through a rigorous calibration process where radial and tangential lens distortions are measured. The distortion parameters gathered are saved into each image’s metadata, letting post-processing software adjust uniquely for every user.
A new GS RTK app allows pilots to intelligently control their Phantom 4 RTK, with two planning modes – Photogrammetry and Waypoint Flight – alongside a more traditional flight mode. The planning modes let pilots select the drone’s flight path while adjusting overlap rate, altitude, speed, camera parameters and more, offering an automated mapping or inspection workflow.
The GS RTK app has been built with its users in mind and therefore has a range of features built for specific mapping or inspection workflows. The app has implemented direct loading of KML area files for in-office flight planning, a new shutter priori mode to keep exposure consistent across all photos and a strong wind alarm to warn pilots of adverse conditions.
The Phantom 4 RTK is compatible with the DJI Mobile SDK, opening up its functions to automation and customization through a mobile device (coming soon).

At Dynnex Drones, all orders over $400 ship free to the contiguous U.S.A.
Orders under $400 have a low flat shipping rate applied to them. If your order total is between $0.01 – $299.99 there is a flat rate of $7.99 for standard shipping charged. If your order total is between $300.00 – $399.99 there is a flat rate of $8.99 for standard shipping charged.
If you need to make any changes to your order, please do so immediately. We try to get orders processed and shipped as quickly as possible. Once an order's status has been marked as "Awaiting Tracking Number" it is too late to stop the order. It could be anywhere from already packaged to on the truck when you receive an email with the "Awaiting Tracking Number" order status. Any cancellations made after an order is marked as "Awaiting Tracking Number" will incur a 10% restocking fee.
No Address Changes Allowed
In order to help prevent fraud, we do not allow address changes to an order nor will we allow a package to be held for pickup at the shipping company's facility. If you place an order and need to change the delivery address, you must immediately request that the original order be canceled and then re-visit the website and place a new order. Obviously, once an order has been marked as "Awaiting Tracking Number" or "Fulfilled" (which means it has already been processed through our warehouse and shipped), there is no way to cancel the order nor change its delivery address.
Signature Required Delivery
All items shipped by Dynnex Drones require a signature for delivery. Please be sure that someone is at the shipping destination to receive and sign for your package(s) on the delivery date indicated through your tracking number. It is your responsibility to arrange for another delivery if nobody is available to sign for the package at time of delivery. It is also the customer's responsibility to ensure that the person signing for a package at their property is someone authorized to sign for the package. If someone signs for a package at your property, it is considered delivered. In order to mitigate fraud, under no circumstances will we have a package held for pickup at the shipping company nor will we re-route a package to another delivery address.
Dynnex Drones is only responsible for products up to the time that they are received by the shipping company and title to the package's contents is transferred to the buyer the moment the package is received by the shipping company. Any problems that arise after the package has been received by the shipping company need to be addressed with the shipping company.
Shipments to P.O Boxes
To help reduce fraud we require all orders to be shipped to a residential address. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. If you checkout with a P.O. Box your order will be canceled and you will have to return to the store and reorder.
If for any reason, a package cannot be delivered, the customer is responsible for our costs to ship the package and any additional costs associated with the delivery, re-delivery attempts and return shipment to us as well as a 10% re-stocking fee. This is true even if the customer received "free" shipping (shipping is only free for products that are delivered and not returned).
Refusal of Delivery: If a package is refused for delivery, outside of arriving damaged or in a damaged box, the customer will be responsible for actual shipping charges incurred by Dynnex Drones. Once we receive the package back in the warehouse, we will issue a credit to the original form of payment for the purchase price less the actual shipping cost of shipping the package to you. This shipping charge will apply even if you were not originally charged shipping under a free shipping promotion. In addition, there is a 10% restocking fee for all returned orders.
Incorrect Shipping Address Provided: Packages that are returned to us because of an incorrect address provided by the customer will be subject to additional shipping charges as well as a restocking fee of 10%. This shipping charge will apply even if you were not originally charged shipping under a free shipping promotion. Requests for packages to be reshipped will have the restocking fee waived but will be subject to a reshipping fee.
Dynnex Drones only accepts "buyer's remorse" returns of unopened packages within 10 days of the order date. We do not accept returns for drones that are not working - that is a warranty issue that you need to contact the manufacturer about. Once a package is opened, all issues must be addressed with the manufacturer.
For "buyer's remorse" returns, please notify us within 10 days of the order date of your intention to return an unopened package in order to receive a return authorization from us and instructions on where to ship the package (we do not accept return shipments at our corporate offices). We do not accept "buyer's remorse" returns after 10 days of the order date, regardless of reason - even if it took more than 10 days for you to receive it. Any packages that are returned without a return authorization will be refused and the customer will be responsible for the return shipping back to them, as well.
There is a 10% processing fee on all returned orders. In addition, customers are responsible for the cost of returning packages to us as well as our original cost to ship the package to you, whether you received "free shipping" or not. In other words, shipping is only free to customers who keep their purchases.
Refunds will be processed in the amount of the original order, less a 10% re-stocking fee, less our actual shipping costs to get the product(s) to you.
Free Promotional Item
Free promotional items are only free if the original purchase is not returned to us in part or in whole. If the free promotional item is not returned with the original purchase the customer will be charged the full retail value plus shipping charges if applicable. Free items must be returned in unopened factory sealed boxes with the original order to receive a refund. Shipping charges are non refundable on free promotional items when applicable and will be deducted from the refunded amount. If a customer returns a portion of the purchase that received a free promotion item the full retail value of the free promotional item will be deducted from the refund as well as any other charges outlined in the return policy.
CPS Accidental Crash Plans
Once a drone has been marked as "Fulfilled", you will have 7 days from the date of purchase to cancel your CPS Warranty. After that seven day window we will not be able to cancel your policy. If you made a claim within the first 7 days we will not be able to cancel your policy, regardless of the reason. Other exclusions may apply.
